Getting Ready for Vacation
As the summer approaches it is essential that you start planning for your summer vacation. If you haven't started looking for condos yet, now
I know that one summer we waited until about 2 weeks before our vacation to make travel plans. We had to wait because we weren't positive about getting the time off. Once we were sure about the dates, it became very difficult to find a place. Everything was booked. \
We ended up finding a last minute 2 bedroom condo at Twin Palms in Panama City beach. They had a special where you stay for 6 days and get the 7th day free or something like that. It turned out to be okay. As the kids are getting older, and bigger, it is definitely better to get a larger condo. But the 2-bedroom unit we got at the Twin Palms was okay in size. If I have the choice of a 2 or 3-bedroom, I will always go with the 3 bedroom.
So, to make a long story short, if you know when you can take a vacation, plan ahead and make reservations. Some condos have a reservation policy that lets you change the dates without any charges or a small charge.
